Whether singing his original songs or the jazz/pop/R&B standards we all know and love, Larry White's "West Coast Jazz" style makes him unique in today's market. It's a style that has earned him a Grammy nomination, airplay on over 300 stations worldwide, and an ever-increasing following locally. Larry's "Alone With You" was one of the most downloaded jazz vocals in the world in 2006.
In his early years, Larry toured world-wide, performing with the hit vocal group "The Sandpipers" whose many hits included "Guantanamera" and "Come Saturday Morning." In addition to his solo career, Larry has arranged, accompanied and conducted for Celine Dion, Michael Buble, Tower of Power, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers, Oscar Peterson, Dionne Warwick and countless others. He had a special long-time relationship as M.D. for pop legend Dusty Springfield, and wrote many of her arrangements including "Son Of A Preacher Man" and "The Look Of Love."
While starting his exclusive engagement at Crush, Larry is currently recording his eagerly awaited fourth CD "Time" which is due out the first of next year. Larry will be performing every Wednesday and Friday night at Crush. His wife and co-songwriter Margaret White, who happens to be of Italian heritage, has been raving about the fabulous Italian-inspired cuisine.Come by for some great music and enjoy some great food!
